- Estimated annual base pay $104,600.00 - 130,800.00 (midpoint) -
157,000.00 USD Annual

you're a Global Supplier Manager, we have an exciting opportunity
for you. This position is responsible for category sourcing
performance for Woodward at an enterprise level.Performance is
measured by strategic initiative achievement. Thoseinitiatives
includesupplier and category strategy, commercial management, and
supply base consolidation.It includes all aspects of commercial and
contractual management of the assigned suppliers.The key focus
isthe selection and development of the supply base to match
Woodward's future needs, but also includessupport of the business
group-based purchasing functions in the areas of strategic
alignment and critical issue escalation. What's In It for You... At

- Strategy Development (supply base/market knowledge, business
integration, deployment planning, internal alignment, global
awareness):Development of supplier level strategies or
simple/medium sub-commoditystrategieswith oversite and review.
Ability to understand complex commodity strategies and discern
application to own work and strategies (flow-down), demonstrated
ability to engage, align and gain support for developed strategies
and demonstrated ability to analyze and understand assigned
sub-commodity(s) based upon known data relating to industry and
market (capacity, raw materials, trends, existing suppliers,
etc.)
- Analytics:Apply basic interpretationof data to propose
appropriate action
- Contract Management/Negotiation (type, development, execution,
implementation, and process)
- Supplier Relationship Management (commercial management,
internal coordination, and alignment): Relationship management at a
1-1 or 1-few complexities with relationships managed at similar or
slightly higher level within supplier (level by responsibility, not
title)
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand process technology
within assigned supply base
- Category Understanding in one or multiple areas:
- Machining/Fabricationtechnologies
- Castings/Forgings/Additive/Metal Injection Molding
- Engineered Components - Sensors, Motors, Solenoid Valves,
Bearings, Seals, etc.
- Electronics - PCBA, Wiring harness, capacitors, resistors, etc.
What We Are Looking For
- 4 year bachelor degree is required, advanced business degree
preferred
- Travel is required (25%)
- 2-5 years purchasing experience required
- CPSM, CPI, PMP, etc.preferred Application window is anticipated
