next adventure takes you. Primary Purpose of PositionThe Senior
Financial Advocate will be the branch lead and help oversee the
Service Advocates, support the Financial Advocates, and answer
general operational questions and support the Branch Manager. When
assisting members, the Senior Financial Advocate will be
responsible for providing distinguished consultative sales and
service by proactively uncovering and fulfilling the needs of each
member through advocacy. The goal of this position is to anticipate
member needs and provide appropriate business and consumer
recommendations. Essential Functions
- The Senior Financial Advocate will be the branch lead and help
oversee the Service Advocates and Financial Advocates, answer
general operational questions, and support the Branch Manager.
- Assist branch staff with questions regarding holds, procedures,
member questions, etc.
- Assist members in branch, over the phone and online with
account and loan-related request. This includes processing
applications, transactions, answering inquires, and offering
solutions to member issues.
- Analyze and discuss the credit bureau and make appropriate
recommendations.
- Generate/utilize leads to recruit new members, cross-sell
products, and services, and expand loan production usage.
- Responsible for providing consultative sales and service by
proactively uncovering and fulfilling the needs of each member
through advocacy. Anticipate member needs and provide appropriate
business and consumer recommendations.
- Manage member traffic flow by provide backup to the FA's
including originating loans, processing approved loans, opening
accounts, and providing product/service referrals, as well as
partner referrals for Investments and Wealth Management, Mortgages,
etc.
- Constantly focus on relationship development with members and
the local community.
- Conduct outbound calls for target marketing campaigns, member
maintenance and follow-up with incomplete online loan applications.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with creative
problem-solving skills
- Requires basic knowledge of computer software applications
including spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation
applications
- Coaching and Staff Development experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work
experience)
- Sales aptitude
- 2+ years consumer lending experience preferredDo I supervise
