Responsibilities:
--- Manage the daily accounting operations, which include overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll activities.
--- Develop and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
--- Collaborate closely with various departments to offer financial insights and aid in strategic decision-making processes.
--- Ensure prompt and accurate processing of vendor payments, customer invoices, and employee payroll.
--- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to accounting staff to support their growth and development.
--- Identify areas for process enhancements and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
--- Support month-end close activities and ensure compliance with internal control processes.
--- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain precise financial records.

Qualifications:
--- To qualify for the Assistant Controller position in Thornton, CO, US, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
--- Previous experience in roles such as accounting manager, controller, and/or auditor is required.
