Required execution of all initiatives includes managing a complex series of steps to be implemented in a timely manner, within budget and on-brand while meeting regulatory requirements.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:* Uses knowledge of design software to produce graphic art, visual materials and videos for promotions for a variety of outlets including the Web site, print, digital and social media. Creates promotional displays, marketing collateral, presentations, events, corporate reports and retail merchandising. Designs logos for products and business needs. Develops signs and environmental graphics. Selects colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout. Selects the size and arrangement of the different elements. Employs color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing projects. Creates designs that engage, attract and sell.* Meets with Vice President of Marketing and marketing team to assist in establishing a vision for product and design. Submits drafts to department lead for editing and compliance review and to Vice President for final approval.* Manages print production and trafficking of all files. Collaborates with vendors and obtains at least three quotes from printers.* Manages stock photography and inventory management of print, corporate wear and premiums.* Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and able to identify areas of use within the organization. Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.* Performs other related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:1. To support all organizational goals and objectives derived from the strategic plan.2. Maintain an excellent knowledge of financial services offered by the credit union.3. Provide recommendations to VP of Marketing regarding the creative strategies and directions the credit union should take.4. Generate required reports within the specified timeframe.5. Work effectively with others in the credit union in supporting the business development and marketing activity.6. Ensure communications are accurate, compliant, timely and within budget guidelines.7. Ensure an adequate supply of marketing materials is available for staffing needs, presentations, etc.8. Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance at all times with a positive attitude and demeanor.9. To provide respectful, pleasant, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to all members, nonmembers, vendors and internal clients.10. To comply with all SCU policies, procedures and published directives in the SCU Employee Handbook.11. To support and achieve all individual and departmental sales and service goals.12. Participate in building a strong teamwork-oriented environment.This is a full-time position and has a starting salary range of $18.85 - $24/hour, which can be adjusted based on experience, education and qualifications.
