Piper Electric Co., Inc., has been in the Denver metropolitan area for over 35 years and we are experiencing tremendous growth/ We are searching for an experienced Account Manager for our PLANT AND FACILITIES operation. A steady, reliable individual with strong communication skills, high professional and personal ethics and the ability and ambition to work in a collaborative, fast paced and rewarding environment.Key Qualifications:--- Solid industrial electrical experience.--- Valid JW license with experience managing at least 10 electricians.--- Seasoned ability to network and create long lasting relationships with new clients, existing clients and vendors.--- Experience preparing and presenting project turnovers.--- Conceptual design and estimating experience.--- Engineering and design experience, including electrical layout and final design.--- Strong aptitude for facilitating technical discussions with clients to ensure proper engineering data.--- A professional and engaging personality to represent Piper Electric at professional organizations and events.--- A talent for detail and analysis to track material, labor, subcontractors, and rental costs to identify trends and an eye for process improvement.--- Electrical design skills--- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with technology such as MS Office, Accubid or equivalent.--- Demonstrable negotiation skills.--- Knowledge and understanding of National Electric Code. Minimum 3 years in electrical construction, estimating, design/build and sales/marketing. Minimum 2 years electrical construction design Construction Project Management experience a huge plusEducation or Formal Training:--- Electrical apprenticeship or vocational electrical training preferred but not mandatory--- High School Diploma or GED requiredWhy Join the Piper Family?
