Our products inspire people to smile, connect and share--- these experiences. -Come celebrate adventure--- with us!About the Job:The Vice President of Sales (VPS) is a leader of sales leaders, responsible for the development of the Duck sales team, and the Duck sales leaders. -The Vice President of Sales is an experienced leader of leaders with a great track record of leading sales teams and driving growth. This individual needs to be a credible leader of talented people, inspiring confidence, and trust. The VPS guides development of the Duck sales team through brand presentation and sales methodology as well as setting performance expectations. The VPS will have the ability to motivate, attract, and retain high performance teams while holding them accountable. The ability to articulate the strategy, positioning, and direction clearly and compellingly is critical. Crucial experience for this role includes employee management, experienced consultative sales skills, ability to identify target markets and/or customers and recognizing sales cycles with varying durations.     • 5+ years of senior sales leadership experience
    • 5+ years of CRM use in a management position
    • Sales experience in the resort industry, or relevant field a big plus
    • Relevant established relationships in relevant fields another plus -
    • Willing and able to travel 25% or more with sales team individuals (ride alongs)
    • Proven track record of managing high-performance teams that exceed performance expectations -
    • Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones
    • Computer competency (Windows, Microsoft suite)
    • Brand and partnership development experience
    • Embody and personify the Duck story and values -
    • Experience building out large-scale sales strategies with complex dependencies and effective resource management including account planning, revenue forecasting, program management, and opportunity assessment for the short term and on an annual basis
    • Strong communication and mentorship skills
    • Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, decision making, influencing, and conflict resolution skills -
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and cross-functional peers to support deadlines
    • Maintain a view of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy

        In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

        Mental/Physical Requirements: While in the office this position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. While traveling, this position requires the incumbent to be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and sitting for long periods.
