Director of Outpatient Retail Pharmacy
*This position is on-site, five days per week*
This position is responsible for day-to-day retail and specialty
operations that comply with all regulatory and compliance
standards, meets business demands and financial objectives, aligned
with UCHealth mission, and delivers outstanding patient experience.
This position will provide strategic and tactical direction and
leadership for pharmacy and specialty operations, accountable for
implementation, execution and compliance/regulatory requirements as
defined by internal standards and external organizations, implement
change to continuously improve performance and increase workflow
efficiencies, and accountable for delivering on performance and
patient satisfaction. This position will provide coaching,
mentoring and support in the development of staff and recognize
individual and team success that result in a high-level of team
engagement and commitment.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborates across specialty/OP Pharmacies to recommend and
implement operational changes/ enhancements to improve patient
experience.
Foster a team environment that sets high standards of operation and
performance. Engages and inspires others to perform at their best,
identifies and develop key individuals with the critical
capabilities needed by organization.
Ensure inventory control processes/measures are maintained for all
products within the outpatient pharmacies and specialty central
fill
Collaborate with Clinics and Providers as One Team to effectively
and efficiently process all scripts within industry
Turn-Around-Time standards, and identify any issues that may impact
the patient experience
Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to
through regular process review, inspection, accreditation and
audits working closely with the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC),
Pharmacy managers, Compliance, Human Capital, and Legal
Requirements:
Minimum Required Education: Master's degree or Doctor of Pharmacy
(PharmD).
Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a
Pharmacist.
Minimum Experience: 5 years of related experience.
The pay range for this position is: $76.61 - $122.58/ hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
