Description
This position is set at CeDAR, UCHealth's award winning treatment
center for adults, including professionals, with substance use
disorders. CeDAR, the Center for Dependency, Addiction, and
Rehabilitation, is a division of UCHealth serving patients in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. The main CeDAR campus located on
the UCHealth Anschutz academic medical center campus in Aurora, CO
and we operate a small outpatient clinic in Boulder as well. It is

Summary:
Provides direct patient care in a behavioral health setting at a
proficient level, in accordance with applicable scope and standards
of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the
organization. Monitors the patient to maintain a safe environment,
optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Work Schedule: Part Time Nights
Responsibilities:
Initiates corrective action whenever patient presentation shows
adverse symptomology.
Responds to patient care situations utilizing nursing standards and
protocols for treatment.
Provides psychiatric nursing to a complex behavioral health patient
population in a complex environment.
Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting
decisively with efficiency and composure.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive
judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate
action.
Requirements:
The pay range for this position is: $33.08 - $51.27 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience. This position may be
eligible for a sign-on bonus on offers accepted through June 30,
2023; certain criteria apply.
