Overview:Pay Range: $32-35/hr depending on experienceSchedule: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7:00a - 7:00pCommunity Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Nurse to process specimens and provide outpatient medication and treatment services for those with opioid use disorder. Under the supervision of the Nursing Manager, Director of Nursing, and Clinic Manager, the Nurse is responsible for administering medication to clients; assisting medical providers; conducting required testing; maintaining medication inventory and audit records; and provide support to the overall operations of the clinic. Above all, the Nurse is responsible for providing patient-centered care in a professional environment.As you join our mission to help those suffering from substance use disorders reclaim their lives, expect to thrive in a comfortable, welcoming, and fun environment where you are valued for the work you do, championed by passionate leaders, and equipped with the tools and ongoing training you need to achieve your goals.Along the way, well invest in your well-being through a benefits package that includes:Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings accountShort and long-term disability insuranceLife insurancePaid sick, vacation, and holiday time401K retirement plan with matchTuition and CME reimbursement up to 100%Employee assistance program to support your mental health and wellnessOngoing professional developmentResponsibilities:Were looking for someone who:Is excited to work in an outpatient setting, much like a doctors office.Has experience with diagnostic testing and specimen collection.Likes to chatyou wont be physically moving patients in this role, but you will be having conversations with them all day.To thrive in this role, you must be able to:Administers medications as ordered/prescribed by a CMS medical providerFollows all medical provider ordersMonitors behavioral patterns, medical symptoms, and physical symptoms related to dosage, as well as other symptoms related to drug use (both licit and illicit) and mental health concernsObtains vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samplesProcesses point of care urine drug screens per company policyPrepares take-home medication (n/a in Montana)Monitors medication administration closely to prevent diversionReports diversion to proper internal authoritiesMaintains accurate client records in companys EHR systemDocuments medication errors and responds to adverse medical reactions per company policyArranges temporary incoming and outgoing courtesy dosing clientsDelivers medications to external facilitiesOrders necessary dosing room and nursing-related suppliesOrders necessary medications (n/a in Montana)Maintains accurate medication inventory recordsAdheres to all federal, state, local, and accrediting body regulationsAdministers CPR, if necessaryParticipates in continuing education and/or other job-related trainingAdheres to and enforces company policies and proceduresMust be able to collect and process phlebotomy/venipuncture and capillary testing as ordered by provider.Qualifications:Licensed LPN or RN in state of employmentCPR Certification RequiredAbility to travel to assigned CMS sitesExperience in the field of substance use disorders preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of the signs of intoxication and opioid withdrawal symptomsDemonstrates accuracy in medication administration and ability to maintain accurate client records#NURby Jobble
