Department: PVH Pharmacy

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $62.19 - $87.07 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:

UCHealth Mountain Crest facility will be transitioning to Poudre Valley Hospital in November 2025. The addition of 50 inpatient behavioral health bed capacity will support the Northern Colorado community. Staffing model and schedule rotation expectations are in discussion based on hospital operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
  • State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • 5 years specialty experience OR PGY1 or clinical fellowship completion with 3 years' pertinent work experience OR Pertinent PGY2 completion.
  • Preferred qualifications: PGY2 Psychiatric trained (inpatient behavioral health)

      Clinical Pharmacist:

      • Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices
      • Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions
      • Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education
      • Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes
