Responsibilities: Lead and manage the operating room unit as Charge Nurse during assigned shifts Provide direct patient care for a diverse range of surgical procedures including Neuro/Spine, Cardiovascular Thoracic, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Robotic surgeries Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including trauma and specialty on-call teams to ensure high-quality care Maintain patient safety with adherence to unit policies and professional standards Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate documentation and communication Support a 2:1 patient ratio within an 11-operating-room setting Qualifications/Desired Experience: Current RN license with Operating Room (OR) nursing experience Charge nurse experience within a Level II Trauma facility highly preferred Flexibility and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Comfortable managing complex procedures and leading teams proactively Schedule: Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts This contract role offers the chance to work in a busy OR with a supportive team and access to advanced surgical technology.
