An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with oncology experience to provide high-quality patient care on a 345-bed medical center known for its three-time Magnet designation. This contract position is located in Arvada, CO, offering a chance to work in a well-respected hospital environment with a supportive team culture. Schedule/Hours: Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering compassionate nursing care to oncology and medical/telemetry patients Ability and flexibility to float across inpatient med/telemetry and rehab units as needed Implementing care plans for acute and chronic conditions within a team-oriented setting Utilizing Meditech EMR system for documentation and communication Adhering to unit policies while maintaining patient safety and comfort Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN licensure with oncology nursing experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Minimum of 2 years telemetry nursing experience highly preferred Chemo certification is a valuable addition for scheduling flexibility on the oncology unit Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and compassionate patient care approach This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow clinical skills in a dynamic hospital environment with a supportive nursing staff of approximately 80 float pool members.
