Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Bariatric Surgery, you will
work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing
quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you
will add specifics here: (Add more info on position here -

cases, how many beds in unit, etc.) This position includes a
$10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 in relocation assistance You
will practice at the Denver Midtown Weight Loss Clinic and have
privileges at Saint Joseph Hospital , is a 365-bed facility and one
of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, CO Your hours will be Monday
through Friday, no call, no weekends You will see approximately
13-14 patients per day for H&Ps, follow ups, and assisting with
new consults, follow-up management and elevate to surgeon as
appropriate Triage incoming referrals to include pre-charting and
discern with provider the patient should see and timing of
appointment You will have first assist opportunities in the OR 2

bring: APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program Board
certification or eligibility in the designated discipline Active,
unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Unrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PA in a bariatric
and/or surgical setting. Please no new grads. Minimum of 1 year of
first assist experience Ability to successfully complete

Requirements: Physical Requirements Ongoing need for employee to
see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate
monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions
with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require
employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand
spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and
accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual
dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate
equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent
computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing
needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift
and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also
bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically
includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and
obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes
pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy
items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of
equipment, power cords on the floor, etc . ). May be expected to
stand in a stationary position for an extended period. Location:

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 The hourly range for this position is
listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $56.76
