Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie. Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is recruiting for an experienced Nurse
Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our
Family Medicine team! This position is benefit eligible, working
full-time 40 hours per week at our Longmont Clinic. This position
will share call rotation with our BMC Boulder, Broadway location
(2750 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80304). In this role, you will join a
team of well-established, community-recognized, and highly
experienced Family Medicine clinicians. You will be our lead Family
Medicine Practitioner in the Longmont Clinic. You will provide care
for a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to
geriatric patients, managing a wide range of clinical
responsibilities - from cancer screenings and regular physical
exams / annual checkups to providing comprehensive management for
chronic disease as well as preventive and geriatric care. For more

hire. Job Summary: Enjoys the collaborative nature of working on a
team with the ability to work independently on location. Performs a
comprehensive health assessment, including health history, physical
exams, preventive screening, and identifies medical health risks
and needs. Formulates the appropriate physical diagnosis based on
clinical evaluation. Performs, orders, and/or interprets diagnostic
studies within the scope of practice and clinical area of practice
at the Boulder Medical Center, P.C. Documents all clinical
information in the patient's chart promptly and ensures that all
charges are accurately submitted in a timely manner Performs
advanced technical procedures within the scope of clinical
practice. Plans and implements therapeutic regimens that include
medical management strategies, including prescription of
medications. Includes obtaining and maintaining prescriptive
authority per State Board Medical Examiner regulations. Establishes
systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and
reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including
initiation of referrals and consultation with BMC physicians and
other health care providers as appropriate. Assures patient and
family teaching is adequate to manage the illness or wellness plan
at home. Provides direction to the Medical Assistant assigned to
support the APP in the clinic. Education: Graduate of an accredited
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) curriculum
Active Colorado State License and DEA licensure Experience: 5 years
of experience in Family Medicine. Location: Boulder, CO Salary
Range: $115k salary base, dependent on experience Eligibility for
the bi-annual incentive plan
