UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in BMT (Bone Marrow Transplantation) Infusion for our outpatient services. This role involves working closely with BMT patients to administer infusions, manage symptoms, and provide compassionate care throughout the treatment process. Administer chemotherapy and other medications to BMT patients according to the treatment plan. Monitor patient reactions during infusions and respond to any adverse reactions immediately. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and what to expect. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all treatments are documented thoroughly. Travel to different UCHealth outpatient facilities as needed to provide consistent patient care. Proficiency in administering IV treatments and managing central lines. Strong knowledge of Bone Marrow Transplantation procedures and associated care requirements. Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying environments. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license applicable to Colorado. BLS/ACLS certification required. ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred.
