Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-focused health care in Colorado,
is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Regional
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team for night shifts. This
role is critical in providing top-tier neonatal care in our
state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate is committed to
nurturing the fragile lives of newborns with professional expertise
and genuine empathy, ensuring all clinical practices meet the
highest standards. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to
neonates and infants in the NICU. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans. Monitor vital signs and health progress of neonates and
report critical changes to healthcare teams. Educate and support
parents and families on neonatal care and post-discharge practices.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintaining
the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Strong knowledge
of neonatal care standards and protocols. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using medical software and
electronic health records. Ability to work effectively in
high-pressure environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state
of Colorado required. Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care
Nursing (RNC-NIC) is highly desirable.
