Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, seeks a passionate and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our night shift team. This position provides an opportunity to work across various UCHealth facilities, ensuring high-quality care and support during one of the most critical times for our patients. The role demands a commitment to patient safety, a high level of nursing care, and the ability to adapt to different clinical environments. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possibly undiagnosed conditions or complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by health care providers. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Handle initial patient assessments and emergency medical procedures as needed, including obstetrical emergency management. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficiency in electronic medical record systems Adept in standard healthcare protocols, especially in L&D Capability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment Excellent teamwork and multi-tasking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS/CPR certification ACLS certified preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
