Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Free
Standing Emergency Department for the night shift. Our facility
focuses on delivering patient-centered care, and we expect our
nurses to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct
while providing effective clinical services. This role involves
managing all nursing care for patients in our emergency department
setup independently of the main hospital. This position offers a
unique challenge to RNs looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment. Assess, plan, and implement patient care independently
in the emergency department. Monitor patient health and progress
post-treatment. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
and record all patient interactions comprehensively. Collaborate
with emergency response teams to stabilize patients. Educate
patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and
options. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) Triage Emergency patient care Critical thinking
