Swedish Medical Center, a distinguished part of HealthONE, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Burn Intensive Care to join our dedicated team in delivering exceptional patient care within our state-of-the-art Burn ICU unit. This position is ideal for a compassionate, detailed-oriented nurse skilled in handling the complexities and needs of severe burn patients. With access to the latest medical technologies and therapies, the RN will actively participate in all aspects of patient treatment, ensuring the highest level of care in our renowned facility. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Burn ICU. Assess patients' condition, implement care plans, and monitor outcomes. Administer medications and treatments accurately and promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on aftercare and ongoing management of injuries. Maintain patient documentation to ensure accuracy and confidentiality according to regulations. Participate in research and continuous improvement initiatives within the unit. Proficient in critical care nursing practices Ability to operate and monitor ICU equipment Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capacity to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of employment BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Certification in Burn Nursing (BCRN) is highly regarded
