Job Description:
At Epic Special Education Staffing, we are looking for a
dedicated School Psychologist to join our team to enhance the
educational experiences and improve the outcomes for students with
special needs. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to
developing effective strategies tailored to individual needs,
supporting both students and teachers in navigating the challenges
of special education. By leveraging psychological theories and
applying evidence-based practices, you will play an integral role
in fostering a nurturing and productive educational environment.
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to aid in
creating individualized educational plans (IEPs). Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and administrators to implement comprehensive
solutions that foster students' academic and social development.
Provide direct support and interventions to students, addressing
both learning disabilities and emotional challenges. Participate in
multidisciplinary teams to advocate for the needs of students. Lead
training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as behavior
management techniques and emotional regulation strategies.
Expertise in psychological testing and evaluation. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and
implement effective interventions and strategies. Proficiency in
data analysis and report writing. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification from the National
Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or equivalent. Valid
state license for School Psychology.
