Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN
specialized in Emergency Department (ED) services to join our team.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work in various
UCHealth hospital settings, supporting our commitment to deliver
top-tier medical care across the state. The chosen candidate will
work closely with a dynamic team of medical professionals to
provide acute care to patients in emergency situations, adapting to
the fast-paced environments of different facilities. Provide
high-quality nursing care for patients in emergency settings across
multiple UCHealth facilities. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare
team. Administer medications and treatments timely and according to
policy. Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of
patient care and history. Operate medical equipment safely and
respond to patient emergencies effectively. Communicate clearly and
effectively with patients, families, and team members, providing
education and support. Adhere to all hospital policies and
procedures, including hygiene and safety measures. Strong clinical
skills in emergency care Ability to work flexibly in various
healthcare settings Proficient in electronic health record (EHR)
systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly
skilled in crisis management and decision-making Adaptable to
changing environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
valid in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification required by
date of hire ACLS certification preferred PALS certification
desirable
