Job Description:
UCHealth seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our MedSurg Internal Medicine team. This position
offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused
environment within a Colorado-based, nonprofit healthcare system
renowned for its excellent care and wide range of services. As an
RN in MedSurg Internal Medicine, you'll provide vital care
management, aiding patients undergoing various medical
interventions, and ensuring their journey to wellness in a
supportive setting. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients
in the MedSurg Internal Medicine unit. Monitor patient health and
maintain accurate health records and reports. Administer
medications and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate
patients and their families on treatment plans and health
maintenance. Manage multiple patients effectively with
attentiveness to individual patient needs. Adhere to sanitary and
safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe environment
for patients and staff. Strong clinical skills in a MedSurg
environment. Ability to handle stressful situations with
professionalism and compassion. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. High proficiency in using medical software
and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a Registered Nurse
in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification required. ACLS
certification is highly desirable.
