Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading Colorado-based nonprofit healthcare system,
is looking for a dedicated and skilled RN specializing in ICU Med
Surg within our Progressive Care Unit. This role involves providing
top-tier, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive
environment, utilizing the latest in medical technology to
administer care for patients needing close monitoring and advanced
medical interventions. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing
care to critically ill patients. Monitor patient conditions
continuously and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient
outcomes. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans
and ongoing needs. Administer medications and treatments safely and
effectively. Document patient care services by charting in patient
and department records. Advanced knowledge of nursing care methods
and procedures. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines
and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.). Excellent
teamwork and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
valid in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR Certification. ACLS
Certification preferred.
