UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer Associate to join our team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality diagnostic cardiac sonography services to our patients. The Cardiac Sonographer Associate will operate sonographic equipment, conduct echocardiograms, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to offer exceptional cardiovascular care in a patient-centered environment. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency in sonographic technology, and a strong commitment to patient care. Perform diagnostic cardiovascular sonography and echocardiograms according to established protocols. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients correctly. Analyze sonograms and provide preliminary findings to cardiologists. Maintain sonographic equipment, reporting any malfunctions or inconsistencies. Document all procedures and patient interactions in accordance with UCHealth policies. Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff. Engage in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest in cardiovascular sonographic technology and techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic sonographic equipment. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or eligible.
