UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: OR Operating Room - CVOR FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Responsibilities: Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Requirements: Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED or Military trained. State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program. In small, personal ways through human connection.
