Job DescriptionSmokin Fins - Arvada, Colorado - is seeking an experienced, dynamic, HOH - Kitchen Manager! We are looking for an individual committed to creating a culture that believes our success is defined by the success of others and is committed to upholding and raising the standards that enable Team Members to be their best selves, while working in a safe, comfortable, and productive environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing inventory and COGS while making certain your restaurant runs "never out"
  • Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
  • Following Company Policies and Procedures to maintain prompt service times and the highest food quality standards
  • Working with your Leadership Team, our Director of Culinary and other KM's within the company, in a collaborative manner
  • Supporting Kitchen Standards and Expectations by engaging your Team, empowering them with responsibility and holding Team Members accountable for quality, organization and sanitation
  • Scheduling all HOH Team Members
  • Understanding and utilizing P&L's to manage COGs and LaborMinimum of three years, full-service, high-volume, casual dining, management experience with a minimum of 1 years' experience as KM or similar top-leadership role. Skills and Qualifications:
    • A strong base of culinary knowledge - Sushi related experience is a plus
    • Excellent knife skills - in particular, with seafood preparation
    • Leadership skills with Team Building experience
    • Interpersonal and Communications skills
    • Conflict resolution
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to uphold standards and best practices
    • Financial understanding to be able to proactively manage purchasing, inventory and daily labor
    • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift, potentially on your feet for the majority of that time
    • Bi-lingual (Spanish) - a plus Very competitive salary and benefits including equity positions and paid vacation.Must be Highly Motivated, have High Energy, and be Professional. Job Type: Full-time, 60+ hours/week Salary: $63,000.00 + /year DOEPaid Vacation after 6 months of service
