Job Description Job Description ASSEMBLERS $20/HR TO $25/HR START ASAP Job Description The assembler will work with fiber cables, where they will measure, cut, and place them in a clip. Following a blueprint or detailed work instruction, the assembler will guide each colored wire through a connector, requiring precise accuracy due to the small size of the wires. Once the wires are fed through, a small drop of epoxy is applied, and the wires are pulled through to complete a coating. The assembly is then placed in a curing device to dry the epoxy, followed by a polishing stage and testing to ensure all connections function correctly. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and place fiber cables in clips. Follow blueprints or work instructions to guide colored wires through connectors. Apply epoxy and pull wires to complete coating. Use small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes for assembly if needed. Place assemblies in curing devices and perform final polishing and testing. Essential Skills 6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing with small parts or medical device assembly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to see color for accurate wire placement. Experience with microscopes or ability to work under one. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with guidewires, hand tools, and microscope assembly. Familiarity with clean room assembly environments and medical or electronics assembly. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
