teams. This Software Engineer – Level 3 or 4 role will sit at our
Aurora, CO site. This position is 100% onsite and cannot
accommodate telecommute work . You will be part of the
Command-and-Control team where you will design, develop, document,
refactor, test, and debug applications software for a Ground
Segment. You will support the program through maturity and
milestones to achieve the mission. The ideal candidate will have
Software development experience, with the ability to digest changes
and synthesize them into working designs, generate efficient code
according to the specifications, and adapt to changes as necessary
that are driven by bugs or specification updates or the customer.
The candidate is expected to operate independently with little
oversight in a dynamic environment, and to be highly
self-motivated; reporting information to leads and the customer.
The candidate is expected to handle diverse assignments with
efficiency, finding unique solutions and working in a very
collaborative and fast-paced environment that continues to grow.
This position is contingent upon clearance verification and
transfer to the NG sponsored program as well as continued ability
to maintain required clearance level. Basic Qualifications:
Requires an active Top-Secret with SCI eligibility at time of
application [ US Citizenship required ] Must be able and willing to
favorably succeed a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph Principal
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of software engineering
experience; Master’s degree with 3 years of software engineering
experience; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered
in lieu of a completed Bachelor’s. Sr Principal Level 4: Bachelor’s
degree with 8 years of software engineering experience; Master’s
degree with 6 years of software engineering experience; PhD with 4
years of software engineering experience. An additional 4 years of
experience may be considered in lieu of a completed Bachelor’s.
Experience with C++ and Python Experience with RedHat Linux
Environment (RHEL) Experience with Software design lifecycle
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket,
etc) and development using Agile methodologies Preferred
Qualifications (not required, but nice to have): Adjudicated FS or
CI polygraph STEM degree Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Experience with automated testing Excellent technical writing and
team-building skills Experience with Command and Control (C2)
Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00 Secondary
Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00 The above salary
range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman
considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers
such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the
candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
