FullTime Day/Night Rotating
America Heart Association BLS, CORN License or Compact
Inpatient pulmonary unit,which serves patients on a 36-bed
Med-Surg unit providing care for a range ofpatients, nationally
referred with complicated pulmonary diseases to admissionsfrom the
Pulmonary Hypertension (subcutaneous and intravenousprostacyclin
Thoracic Surgery (such as esophagectomy, lobectomy,
Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgery (head & neckcancers that
require surgical intervention, such as
laryngectomies,tracheostomies and free flaps/graft sites)
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
Hospital Medicine (admits from ED & ICU with varyingdiagnosis
and treatment needs)
Bachelors degree nursing is preferred

Plans, implements, andevaluates patient care plans based on
patient assessment to optimize outcomesand maximize available
Monitors, records, andcommunicates patient condition as
Collaborates as neededacross disciplines to coordinate patient
care, including patient transfer,discharge, referral and
spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needsof patient and/or family and provides
patient/family education appropriate toage, culture, condition, and
circumstances. Effectively delegates patient careto ancillary
personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.
