Job Description:

Overview/Objective Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing Prescient's contracting process, including review of project proposals, review and finalization of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and the like, and administering contract performance, and close-out. You will also assist and advise project teams and outside counsel in drafting and negotiating contracts and ensuring contract compliance. Competencies:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of agreements.
  • Interface with customers and business partners regarding contract negotiation, modification, and contract administration.
  • Ensure proper internal approvals are received for contract deviations that arise during negotiation.
  • Confirm final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
  • Continuous communication with clients to ensure timely contract execution by the parties.

    Other Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Shape and improve legal processes that enable both legal and business functions to scale effectively
    • Contribute to the growth and success of the Legal department

      Minimum Requirements/Experience:

      • Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
      • Advanced level using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
      • Previous contract review and negotiation experience
      • Detailed-oriented with effective communication skills required

        Supervisory Responsibilities: This person will have no direct reports.
        Work Environment: This position operates in a typical office environment with computers and teleconferencing. The employee is subject to inside environmental conditions. Employee's schedule could include after-hour projects, as needed.
        Position Type: This is a full-time exempt level position
        Physical Demands: This person must be able to perform normal office duties, sitting for extended periods of time, and attending meetings as required. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements include lifting up to 20 pounds. Some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
