Manager, Credentials Verification Service
This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position based on the Anschutz
Medical Campus in Aurora CO. Manages the daily operations of the
Medical Staff and Credentialing functions to ensure alignment with
departmental and organizational objectives.
• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards,
and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision
of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff
satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees
scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance,
departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and
justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors
usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience in a health care setting working directly
• 3 years of experience supervisory experience.
• Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or
Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM)
certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services
(NAMSS) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
within 2 years of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Dual certification (at least two of the certifications listed
The pay range for this position is: $32.49 - $51.99 / hour.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. An annual
bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational
and individual performance.
