strong background in quantum computation to help us architect
quantum computing systemsAs part of our group, you will work with a
core team of scientists and engineers to make important
contributions in the interest of our national defense and

error correction, state distillation, and related topicsThere are

Northrop Grumman's facility in Aurora, CO Basic Qualifications:---
Ph.Din Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related
technical discipline with 4 years of professional experience.
* Strong background in fault-tolerant quantum computation and
quantum information theory
* Familiarity with computational methods for analysis and
simulation of quantum protocols
* Programming experience in C++ and Python
* Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
per business requirements (US citizenship is a prerequisite)
* Proven skill at tackling/solving complex problems
* Ability to learn new topics quickly in a fast-paced
environment
* Ability to work well in a collaborative, diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications:--- Familiarity with noise-modeling and/or
decoherence mechanisms
* Familiarity with algorithms, quantum algorithms, and/or
theoretical computer science
* Familiarity with superconducting qubits or superconducting device
physics
* Experience with Mathematica
* Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearanceSalary Range: $153,600 -
$230,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditionsEmployees may be
eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base payAnnual
bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as
allow employees to share in company resultsEmployees in Vice
President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
IncentivesIn addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
