Shuttle Driver Position Summary The right candidate will responsible for assisting our customers in getting to and from dealerships to their home/work, and will pick up or take customers to/from wherever assigned. This person will be personable, and welcoming as they are responsible for keeping customers safe, comfortable, and informed while driven in a defensive manner. Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities Assures customers are picked up or delivered to appropriate destination in the proper time. Displays good judgment and safe driving skills. Keeps a timely shuttle route and can use & follow map apps and understands navigating city streets & traffic. Assist passengers in getting in and out of vehicle as needed. Assists other departments with transporting customers, employees, or parts during times of high volume. When appropriate, maintain decent conversation with customers and answer questions in a polite and gentle manner. Assist with other duties as assigned. Work Hours: Regular work hours are 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs. The position is generally around 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Employee hours vary and are dependent on business needs. Wage: Hourly, Non-Exempt: $14.00 – $18.00 depending on experience. Benefits – If hired to a full-time position , the company provides vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, 401(k) employer paid life insurance, health, dental, vision, pet insurance, and company discounts.
