opportunities and details** InColor strives to provide the highest
quality product to all of our customers. We are a plant vendor
providing annuals, perennials, ground cover, and vegetables to
different stores across the Colorado region. As a Sales Associate,
you will work for our 6-week Costco program merchandising flowers
and providing customer services to our clientele inside Costco
stores across the Colorado region. Sales Associates set, organize,
care for, and sell products such as annual flowers, perennials,
vegetables, herbs, and other plants within different retail stores.
This position requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced
environment handling a high volume of perishable products. The
ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimum
supervision and optimize sales. Previous experience in retail,
greenhouse, customer service, sales, or merchandising is helpful
but not required. The Roving Sales Associate position requires at
least 1-2 seasons of work history with the company or equivalent
management/merchandising/plant experience. This position requires a
background check that includes an MVR to be approved for the
designated driver list. All Sales Associates are hired as seasonal,
temporary employees to help out with our 6 Week Spring program
(approximately 5-7 weeks from April - June). Hours and schedules
are not guaranteed and are based on the scheduling and retail needs
of District Managers. Opportunities to work within a different
InColor position after season end are based on performance,
availability, and district needs. In addition to the duties and
responsibilities identified below, there are three major components
of every job at InColor and Tagawa Greenhouses: teamwork,
communication, and vision. Employees are responsible for working
together in a productive and efficient manner, assuring there is
open communication at all levels within the company, and
understanding the shared vision of the company and how their
position contributes to the realization of that vision. Essential
Functions/Duties:Merchandising live goods for optimum visibility
and salesClean/cull/consolidate products placed on tables and
endcaps. Rotate stock as needed.Pull in racks of product and remove
empty racksMoisture management / water and care for plants (e.g.
dead heading/pinch off old foliage, pruning, cycling product,
etc.)Track inventory and change labels on sale items.Report rack
counts via electronic software at stores or via phone/text to a
District Manager.Create signs, set up, and clean around display
areasWorks both independently or in a team for various tasks.Speak
with clients, managers, and customers about inventory within your
store, and assist in providing customer service within a client
location.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and
communicating with clients, managers, vendors, co-workers, and
employees in a respectful manner.Report to District Manager, and is
to report issues at the store level to the District Manager.Roving
Sales Associates are required to travel from store to store during
a single day, providing transportation for other merchandising
staff. Roving Sales Associates must follow all driving policies as
outlined by the Designated Driver Policy and schedules from
District Managers.In addition to the above responsibilities, Sales
Associates may be required to assist with various projects within
client locations as needed and directed by a District Manager
including but not limited to updating inventory using company
software, completing inventory counts, and assisting with other
nearby stores within the district.Requirements:Must be 21 years or
older and eligible for work in the United StatesMust be able to
understand written and spoken EnglishMust be able to work as a part
of team and communicate in a respectful manner when speaking to
clients, customers, managers, and coworkers.Must be able to reach
and regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds and frequently
push and pull racks on wheels up to 100lbs with or without
reasonable accommodation.Must have specific vision abilities: close
vision, distance vision, and color visionMust be able to perform
tasks involving stooping, walking, bending, and standing for long
periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.Must have
reliable means of communication including phone and textMust have
reliable transportation to retail stores to accommodate schedules
as set by the District Manager.Must be able to work in all
Greenhouse/Garden Center conditions including wet, humid, dusty,
dirty, and hot/cold temperatures. Merchandisers are placed at
locations requiring work in outside weather conditions (including
hot, cold, windy, sunny, rainy, and snow) Positions require
applicants to pass a Federal & State Criminal Background check. All
employees driving for work purposes and collecting mileage
reimbursement must be on the Tagawa Greenhouse Designated Driver
list and have an MVR approved by Hortica. This will require for you
to have your own vehicle, a valid Driver's License, and current car
insurance. Employee Discounts: Employees are eligible for a 40%
discount on Tagawa/InColor products at one of the Home Depots,
Safeway, and Costco stores, where we deliver products. Products
that are eligible for this discount must have a sticker or tag that
says "InColor" or "Grown by TGE". Employees also get a 30% discount
at Tagawa Gardens on plants and garden supplies. SIGN-ON BONUS $200
for all NEW InColor Seasonal Employees! $350 for all RETURNING
InColor Seasonal Employees (1+ year experience). (Paid out on an
employee's first paycheck.) Referral Bonus: From now through April
30th, refer a friend to InColor and you both could be eligible for
a $100 bonus! $100 bonus for you and $100 to the person you
referred paid out on completing the final week of peak season
(Referral bonus paid out on June 8th paycheck; referring employee
and referral must both be employed to be eligible for this bonus.)
*Retention Bonus: $100 for every week of the program completed (up
to 6 weeks) Paid out on the final check. 6-week period between
