Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a Program Director Magnet to enhance and
advance our nursing excellence programs across multiple hospitals
and outpatient facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining our
status as a Magnet recognized institution, focusing on the
development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative nursing
practices that align with our commitment to deliver top-tier
patient-centered care. The successful candidate will lead
initiatives that promote clinical excellence and collaborate with
healthcare professionals to meet the rigorous standards of the
Magnet Recognition Program. Oversee the strategic planning and
execution of magnet-related programs across all UCHealth
facilities. Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop policies
that align with Magnet standards and improve patient outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, implementing
improvements as needed to ensure compliance with Magnet criteria.
Lead cross-departmental teams to foster a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement in nursing care. Prepare and manage the
budget for Magnet program initiatives and resources. Facilitate
professional development opportunities and resources for nursing
staff to meet Magnet model components. Coordinate with internal and
external stakeholders to promote and advocate for the Magnet
program and its benefits. Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient
in program management and strategic planning In-depth knowledge of
Magnet recognition standards and healthcare accreditation Ability
to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
